I collaborate on Youtube with two of my lovely friends Rumela and Mandy, and we decided to do different bridal makeup, depicting different cultures and traditions.
Rumela being from west Bengal picked up Bengali Bridal look , i feel no one except her could have done justice to the look , with her beautiful eyes and smile she beautifully executed the look.
I just loved her saree and the crown (not sure what is called), she looked like a real bride.
Here is her picture
Mandy born and raised in California picked up North Indian Bridal look, she has a very warm and friendly personality. just by looking at her picture one can guess the theme of her look, very Punjabi ^_^ , shez new on Youtube and has some really amazing videos.
Here is her look
My look was inspired Arabic bridal makeup , its very similar to traditional Indian and Pakistani wedding look, here is the pic(s)

Delete@Deeptima: The thermocol crown that Rumela's wearing is called 'Topor' and is an integral part of traditional Bengali wedding!
ReplyDeleteNice concept!
Thanks for letting me know Adaa :)
DeleteIts called mukut the ones that the grooms wear are called topor. Although they are made of thermocol but the one I am wearing is made of art paper I made it :)
Delete@Adaa: topor is the one which is worn by the groom. Bride wears a Mukut.
